Job Description: EDI Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EDI Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an EDI Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and systems. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining relationships with multiple Trading Partners and vendors while ensuring seamless data exchange and system functionality. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in EDI implementation, data mapping, and data conversion, and be proficient with IBM Sterling Integrator tools. Key Responsibilities:

Utilize your in-depth knowledge of implementing EDI and ERP systems to manage and optimize EDI operations effectively.
Take the lead in managing relationships with multiple Trading Partners and vendors, fostering strong collaboration and smooth data exchange.
Define, document, and communicate EDI business process requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Develop comprehensive and precise specifications for X12, XML, JSON, and other relevant data formats.
Leverage your experience in data mapping and data conversion using IBM Sterling Integrator tools to facilitate accurate and efficient data exchange.
Showcase your proficiency with the SI Map editor and Graphical Process Modeler to create seamless EDI workflows.
Oversee the end-to-end implementation and testing of new trading partners, ensuring successful integration.
Monitor the flow of data through EDI applications, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues to maintain uninterrupted system functionality.
Provide expert support for existing business processes by monitoring system activities and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
Lead the development and management of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and AS2.
Utilize your expertise in modern integration technologies, including Rest APIs, to create and optimize integrations.
Manage EDI implementation projects, encompassing analysis, specification, interpretation, and successful execution.
Lead the onboarding of new transaction sets and the implementation of new EDI functionality.
Conduct thorough data validation and testing, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to business rules.
Troubleshoot and debug system and data errors, ensuring accurate and reliable EDI operations.
Ensure timely data transfer operations and conduct quality checks to maintain data integrity.
Execute system installations, upgrades, testing, and configurations to enhance EDI capabilities.
Proactively analyze and prevent data translation and transfer issues, ensuring uninterrupted data flow.
Develop and maintain technical documentation to support EDI functions.
Oversee daily EDI integrations, provide technical support to internal and external clients, and manage system configurations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
9+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator.
5-6 years of experience in business process development, including map development for X12, XML, EDIFACT, CSV, and flat files.
Thorough understanding of communication protocols, including FTP, SFTP, and AS2.
Proficiency in EDI VAN operations.
Expertise in ANSI X12 and EDIFACT transaction sets across various business domains.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly JDE Sales & Distribution and JDE Purchasing (desirable).
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
