Samsung SDS America is looking for a motivated and experienced Director of Account Management to engage with strategic enterprise customers to sell SDS cloud, IT solutions and products by driving business development activities.

The successful candidate will work with cross functional teams in Samsung SDS America to drive new sales opportunities, and to ensure customer success and revenue growth.

We are looking for a business expert with consultative sales experience and a sales-focused mindset with a proven ability to pro-actively develop opportunity pipeline.

This role will supervise a team of account managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage new and existing SDS cloud, IT solutions and digital products to generate sales pipeline and enhance sales opportunities
  • Become a knowledgeable partner and leader on Samsung SDSA digital transformation solutions
  • Meet target revenue and profitability for sales, including accurate opportunity forecasting
  • Manage each account to specific targets on strategic/economic values including all relevant levels of customer personnel
  • Communicate with internal resources in SDSA and external partners (vendors and solutions partners) for successful account-specific strategy and business management (success criteria includes on-time, on-budget, on-function/scope)
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and ensure delivery of products and services for assigned accounts
  • Manage account/project specific issues, risks and quality
  • Supervise, mentor and guide other account managers

Requirements

  • 16+ years of sales and account management experience in IT with proven sales track records in enterprise sales with enterprise level clients.
  • Experience selling digital transformation solution, IT solution, as well as data analytics & visualization.
  • Able to build trusting relationship with customers and solution partners at all level (CXO, middle managers, working level) based on subject matter expertise and SDS offerings
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and programs (budget, on-time, quality) and business planning capability
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve IT strategy based on experience, research, data and industry trends.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Understanding of user experience flows and best practices.
