Reach the students who need it the most with high-impact test preparation

Are you looking for a flexible part-time job that comes with an opportunity to change lives? Are you a teacher, a trainer, a tutor, a coach or simply someone with a passion for developing others? We need engaging public speakers who can move an auditorium and bring our content to life.

We are looking for compassionate individuals who love presenting in-person. This is a flexible 1099 contract position for an approximately 8-week engagement that requires traveling up to several days in a week depending on customer demand. Applicants must have ample availability on weekdays and occasional Saturdays. All travel accommodations will be provided for by MasteryPrep.

You will be teaching MasteryPreps ACT, SAT or TSIA2 Boot Camp curriculum. No prior test-prep experience is required, and minimal teacher prep-time is needed; you will have access to extensive training resources that boost your teaching and presentation skills.

As a Dynamic Instructor you will:

• Deliver virtual and in-person presentations of MasteryPrep's curriculum to students for a variety of national and state standardized exams
• Bring the curriculum to life for students through positive, engaging, knowledgeable, and prepared instruction
• Cover all subject areas of the respective tests, focusing on specific, proven strategies
• Be available to travel locally/regionally for in-person instruction
• Provide highly engaging virtual instruction

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher
• This position does NOT require a teaching certification
• Test prep experience preferred but not required
• Positive attitude
• Engaging and entertaining presentation style
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to effectively communicate with students
• A passion for teaching and a desire to help students achieve their best possible test scores
• Desire to grow and receive feedback
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with national and state standardized exams preferred
• Willingness to travel overnight for in-person instruction and accept work assignments during daytime hours, Monday through Saturday
• Compassion for all learners, including those from diverse backgrounds and with different learning styles
• Valid drivers license
• Resident of NM, TX, OK, LA, AR, MS, TN, AL, KY, GA, FL, NC, SC, WV or VA
• Deep belief in the potential of all students and a passion for MasteryPreps mission
• Respect for individuals' diverse experiences and the ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds

Benefits

This is a 1099 contract position. Pay varies based on the event or class type, but typically starts at $25/hour for virtual and $50/hour for in-person.
