Job Description
We are currently seeking a part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. As a Pediatric NP with our practice, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside a wonderful doctor and a supportive staff who value your expertise and contributions. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who is eager to provide the highest quality healthcare services to our young patients.
Key Responsibilities
Pediatric Assessments and Examinations:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations for children and adolescents.
Well-Child Care And Routine Health Checks
- Provide well-child care, including vaccinations and routine health checks.
Diagnosis And Treatment
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with our physician and healthcare team in delivering comprehensive care to our patients.
Education And Guidance
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health and wellness, empowering them to make informed decisions.
Maintaining Records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a pediatric setting is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to delivering compassionate care to children and adolescents.
Working Hours
This is a part-time position, requiring a commitment of 2 days per week. We understand the importance of work-life balance and are open to discussing a flexible schedule that accommodates your needs.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $85 - $88 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
