The Project Manager (PM), reporting to the Global Project Execution Leader, is the focal point of responsibility, authority, and accountability for the overall direction of the Investment Project. As head of the overall project team the Project Manager initiates and ensures proper team building. The PM ensures the integration of all stakeholders and subject matter experts for the project team. Together with the Project Operations Manager /Manufacturing representative the PM is responsible to achieve the project requirements regarding cost, schedule, risk, quality, functionality and champion safety.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, monitor & mentor all site project management resources and related activities and lead projects if the complexity warrants it.

-Assure proper team building.

-Ensure Front End Loading process (FEL) is properly implemented

-Support the sites to prepare the application for Approval (ACT).

-Prepare and/or support and update the project execution planning.

-Assure proper change management.

-Support the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up concept development.

-Assure Risk Management throughout the project life cycle.

-Ensure of the proper fulfillment of PPG and applicable regulatory bodies' EHS requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelors of Engineering with 15+ years' experience in chemical industry with solid project management and executions.
Should be comfortable managing multiple projects of medium size up to $15m.
Expertise in Front End Loading (FEL) phase gate processes, safety reviews, project procurement, contracting execution strategies and models.
Understanding of all engineering disciplines (Process, Mechanical-Fixed/Rotating, piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and CSA).
Solid experience and understanding of cost estimation, cost control, planning and scheduling.
Experience in construction management, construction contracting, procurement management & contracting, quality assurance, EPC contract management, vendor Management, FAT, SAT, and commissioning and start-ups.
Experience in managing diverse projects such as green-field, brown field, capacity expansion, bottle necks, and turnaround projects would be advantageous.
Domestic US (mid-west primarily) travel up to 75% and occasionally international travel.
