Project Manager (Resort Development)

Overview
MCG is a consulting firm serving the Outdoor Hospitality Industry. MCG Hospitality Development focuses on site suitability analysis, strategic business planning, design, financial analysis, and project management for site development. MCG Hospitality Management provides marketing and operational support and long-term facility management for startup and existing facility operations.
MCG Hospitality Development is seeking a Project Manager to support our growing, nationwide planning and development efforts for numerous luxury outdoor resorts, RV parks and campgrounds, glamping and cottage villages, and other recreational venues. Historically, MCG has performed projects for the Outdoor Hospitality Industry in 36 U.S. states and internationally.
Responsibilities
The selected individual will report directly to MCGs Principal Consultants and will support the Principal Consultants with the following duties:
Site suitability and evaluation
Economic, financial, and market analysis
Research and professional/technical writing for business, operations, and marketing plans
Regulatory review for land development
Maintain strict confidentiality for all aspects of internal MCG and external client operations.
Maintain communications with the MCG project team and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Manage MCG staff as assigned; serve as senior mentor to junior staff.
Maintain knowledge of new industry developments and regulatory requirements.
Commit to MCGs values of efficiency, innovation, professionalism, and integrity.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, hospitality management, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in business consulting. land use/facility planning and development, or related experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in conducting market analysis and economic modeling.
Aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis.
Strong verbal and professional/technical writing (e.g., business plans); ability to interact professionally with co-workers and clients.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and time management skills to be successful in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Microsoft Excel), and internet research.
Valid drivers license.
Work Environment
Work will be conducted in MCGs office in Bryan, Texas.
The individual will travel periodically (approximately 25 - 35%) to client meetings and facility locations. Travel locations are within the continental U.S.
