If so, JDRF International is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team. The ideal candidate is a highly focused, detail oriented and motivated multitasker with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Reporting to the Vice President, Digital & Creative Services and partnering closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and VP, Marketing Strategy, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the successful implementation of a new JDRF brand strategy across national, chapter, affiliate, and volunteer organizations. The Sr. Project Manager will ensure all brand-related needs are on time and within budget while meeting business requirements. As a liaison between internal project teams and external agency partners, the Sr. Project Manager standardizes workflows to collect key pieces of information to scope projects, aggregate data into digestible information, connect dots, track progress, and ultimately deliver results.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Brand & Integrated Marketing Project Management

  • Lead project management, implementation planning for large scale omni-channel brand strategy roll out across national, international, and local markets.
  • Assist in driving brand consistency and manage all phases of the brand implementation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information.


Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work in close partnership with marketing team, internal partners, and external agencies to ensure all timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Manage and set up regularly scheduled project check-ins with all teams involved in integrated marketing and brand roll out.
  • Cascade brand and rollout information across national, field, affiliate and volunteer footprint.
  • Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, production, installation, and final delivery.
  • Interface directly with managers, employees, vendors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and meetings to achieve shared strategic and program objectives, including managing meeting cadence, preparation, and facilitation.


Project Production & Management
  • Identify and document the full landscape of assets and touchpoints that will require rebranding.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Consistently apply tools, templates, and methodologies for use in all major efforts.
  • Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously.
  • Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors.
  • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
  • Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation and implement action plans.
  • Anticipate roadblocks, uncover areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Pinpoint how teams can leverage existing strengths and improve its weaknesses through various business process improvements.
  • Operate within JDRF's governance processes, supporting both the delivery teams and business owners to ensure the right balance between control and timely delivery and quality.
  • Adhere to JDRF's standards, utilizing industry best practices and techniques throughout entire project execution.
Financial/Tracking/Analytics
  • Identify anticipated budget revisions, additions, deletions, needs associated with revised brand strategy and implementation and escalate to ensure forecasting is accurate.
  • Track and report on KPIs and project health, as well as business value.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's (B.A./B.S.) degree or equivalent
  • Experience: 7-9 years of relevant project management experience
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver able to navigate a high degree of ambiguity and flux
  • Experience working with branding and digital marketing agencies, as well as internal creative teams required.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with a brand re-launch across multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply project management skills in a fast-paced environment with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas
  • Proficiency in basic office software (MS Office, etc.); experience preparing detailed presentations, whilst adhering to strict deadlines
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities
  • Comfortable in a highly visible role with the capacity to easily develop stakeholder relationships and create trust
  • Experience with project management tools such as Wrike and/or Jira a plus.


Target Salary: $110-120k
