Reporting Manager

We are hiring a Reporting Manager to spearhead our data visualization initiatives and generate meaningful insights through impactful dashboards to support our HUB Financial Center. The ideal candidate should bring a robust foundation in data analysis, business intelligence, and advanced Power BI capabilities. In this role, you will assume a vital role in converting intricate data into intuitive visual representations that guide business choices and strategic undertakings.


We are looking for someone with Following competencies.

  • Lead diverse teams across multiple domains and geographies to deliver integrated data & reporting solutions, Partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Excels in Enterprise Data Warehousing and understands data integration, storage, visualization tools, and data modeling comprehensively.
  • Identify and escalate program issues in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management.
  • Has worked in the Insurance Domain, familiar with its concepts across P&C insurance.
  • Possesses a consultant mindset, collaborating with business leaders, navigating an enterprise, and crafting solutions effectively.
  • Takes initiative, is self-driven, and can multitask, managing multiple workstreams independently.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Compliance Team to support audit reviews by drawing insights through ad hoc queries.
  • Has expertise in end-to-end Power BI implementations, including Data Engineering, Modeling, and Visualizations.
  • Communicates clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Creates solutions using robust data pipelines and models for enterprise-level reporting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS, especially Azure services related to data storage and processing.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of development experience with Microsoft Power BI and Visual Studio/SSAS/Azure Analysis Service
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts including star schema, snowflake schema, and a track record of designing efficient and scalable data models using Power BI
  • Proficiency in developing dashboards using various Power BI development tools (e.g. Report Builder, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Online)
  • Advance skill on SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with technologies like SQL Server, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or similar platforms
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI and data analysis are recommended.
  • Exposure to various Azure components and data engineering using PySpark or Python.
  • Knowledge of data integration techniques and the ability to connect Power BI to various data sources such as databases, APIs, Excel files and other additional sources.
  • Ability to create thorough and well-organized documentation for Power BI solutions, data models, and reports.
  • Experience managing projects with Agile methodology and full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $110K to $130K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific positions business line, scope and level.
