ProSource Building Supply, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales & Project Manager for its Commercial Projects Division. The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare cost estimates for windows and doors by analyzing project blueprints and creating "takeoffs" to determine the quantities and costs of materials needed to complete the project. This position works with commercial projects in the following market segments: Multi-family residential Senior residences Schools & hotels Retrofit & new construction projects Responsibilities Generating & following up on established commercial project leads Obtaining blueprints and performing takeoffs Preparing estimates for general contractors Order entry and project management On-site meetings and follow-through on sold projects Qualifications: A successful candidate for the Commercial Project Manager position will have: Excellent communication and people skills Strong math skills Exceptional attention to detail Analytical skills Familiarity with financial and project management principles Familiarity with Twin Cities building market a plus Education & Experience Experience in the building industry is preferred but not required High school diploma required; 4-year college degree preferred Background in engineering or architecture a plus Compensation The Commercial Project Manager will receive a monthly base salary, which will depend on qualifications, plus commission.
