THIS IS NOT AN IT-RELATED POSITION!
Seeking experienced (15+ years) leader of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental impact assessments and other related support for maritime activities.
Requires in-depth knowledge of NEPA requirements and experience with implementation of NEPA, including successful leadership of the development and completion of large EISs, especially programmatic.
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, sciences, or other related area; graduate degree preferred.
Familiarity with U.S. Coast Guard NEPA regulations and process; direct experience with Coast Guard NEPA regulations and projects at the programmatic level is highly desired.
Experience with other federal agencies NEPA implementation regulations and procedures is a plus.
Prior experience with nationwide and/or programmatic impact analyses, including NEPA documents, essential fish habitat assessments, biological assessments, and Coastal Zone Management Act consistency determinations.
