We are actively seeking highly qualified Virtual Teachers who are passionate about delivering exceptional education experiences to students. Our ideal candidates are dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging virtual classroom environment that places a strong emphasis on both academic growth and social-emotional development. We provide access to a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, available online and through various traditional resources. Please note that while this is a remote teaching position, occasional travel and in-person attendance for state testing and student events will be required.

Responsibilities

Lead Instruction: Act as the primary instructor for core content areas and various grade levels.

Student Achievement: Strive to meet student achievement, cultural, and state-specific academic accountability goals.

Live Instruction: Deliver engaging live lessons through web conferences, tailored to student needs and supported by research-based instructional methods.

Course Management: Set up and manage course materials within the Learning Management System.

Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor student progress in asynchronous courses, providing daily feedback and grading assignments.

Student Engagement: Maintain regular contact with each student to foster a supportive learning environment.

Progress Reporting: Collaborate with the Principal to create and deliver progress reports for students.

Data-Informed Instruction: Review student data frequently to inform instructional adjustments.

Differentiated Instruction: Implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Inclusive Classroom: Foster a joyful, caring, and inclusive classroom environment while integrating culturally responsive teaching practices.

School Culture: Uphold school-wide culture expectations and norms, both within and outside the classroom.

Family Communication: Regularly communicate with families regarding students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Technology Integration: Incorporate 21st-century technology skills into daily teaching practices and team collaboration.

School Activities: Participate in the planning and execution of non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips, including in-person attendance.

Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate effectively, humbly, and respectfully with colleagues.

State Testing Support: Travel as required to provide in-person support for state testing annually.

Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Possess a current state teaching license in the relevant content area.

Familiarity with State Standards and Common Core Standards.

Preferred Minimum Of Two Years' Teaching Experience.

Comfortable working in a growth-focused coaching environment with regular observations and feedback.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Capable of standing for up to 90 minutes at a time.

Competent in supervising students in all school settings.

Successfully pass federal and state criminal background checks.

Previous experience working in a multi-cultural setting is advantageous.
