This regional medical center in West Florida is seeking a board certified/board eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an employed Cardiac Surgery practice in Pasco County Florida. The private practice is expanding with the addition of a new pod to serve the large patient need in Pasco and Hernando counties. Just 45 minutes north of Tampa, the area has tremendous demand for Cardiac Surgery and is one of the fastest growing counties in all of Florida. The Regional Medical Center is a Level 2 Trauma Center with a strong medical staff and supportive medical community. The ideal candidate will:
* Boarded in Cardiothoracic Surgery
* Perform both Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery
* Have a verifiable track record of quality
* Have interest in TVAR and Mitral Clip procedures
* Thoracic Aortic interest is a plus
The private practice is a large network of 12 physicians who work with the health system Hospitals across West Florida. The practice provides an extremely competitive compensation package which includes a base guarantee and RVU incentive along with full benefits and PTO.
