Job Description:

• Multi-objective Optimization: Skills in solving supply chain problems with multiple conflicting objectives, considering trade-offs between cost, service, and sustainability.
• Metaheuristics Algorithms: Proficiency in developing and implementing metaheuristics algorithms such as genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, tabu search, and particle swarm optimization for solving complex supply chain optimization problems.
• Supply Chain Modeling: Expertise in modeling supply chain networks, including inventory management, demand forecasting, production scheduling, and logistics, using mathematical and optimization models.
• Domain Knowledge: A deep understanding of industry-specific supply chain challenges and best practices (e.g., retail).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work closely with supply chain, logistics, procurement, and operations teams to implement optimization solutions.
• Optimization Software: Experience with specialized optimization software tools like Gurobi, Lingo.
• Model Validation: Validate and refine models to ensure accuracy and reliability in real-world applications.
• Masters or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
