Your Role We are seeking a Medical Assistant for our new office in Clifton Park. Day-to-day, you will perform routine clinical assignments to assist patients and providers. In addition, this role will have front-office administrative responsibilities. If you are an outgoing individual who is open to learning new things and values patient relationships, please apply to join our team! Requirements - 2 or more years as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Ability to measure and document patient vital signs
- Proven proficiency with Electronic Health Records
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills working with patients and providers (phone, e-mail, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize patient needs and triage as directed
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- On-Site Monday-Friday, 9-5pm
Responsibilities - Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments in-office or over the phone
- Verify patient information by interviewing the patient, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit
- Perform physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and record information in the medical record
- Manage correspondence/forms/letters/records request and retrieval
- Perform medical office management duties as assigned
