Hire Resolve has a client based in Denver, Colorado that is actively seeking a Tax Analyst to join their team. As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the tax compliance & planning function. This includes overseeing the preparation and review of all federal, state, and local tax returns and ensuring timely & accurate filing. You will also provide strategic tax planning advice and work closely with various departments to minimize tax liability while remaining compliant with tax laws & regulations. This role requires a highly analytical and proactive with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple tax engagements and clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, identifying areas for process improvement and providing guidance on tax-related matters
• Manage and review the work product of team members, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed
• Supervise and mentor team members, encouraging growth and development
• Research and consult on complex tax issues, providing recommendations and solutions to clients
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations and laws
• Participate in business development initiatives, cultivating relationships with potential and existing clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license preferred or EA
• 2+ years of experience in tax planning in accounting firms.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong leadership and management experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with software for Tax

• Salary: $55K/yr - $75K/yr, salary negotiable
