This position will cover Salad and Go stores in the West Valley including Peoria, Glendale, Avondale, Goodyear, and Phoenix. A company fleet vehicle is provided. This is a regular, full-time position and pays $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus annual bonus potential and benefits.

Salad and Go was founded in 2013 in Gilbert, Arizona. The company currently operates 115+ stores across Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Oklahoma and growing.

Salad and Go is seeking a Store Facilities Technician II. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment and facilities of existing retail store locations for Salad and Go. The hours for this position are Monday Friday, 7am - 4pm, but may vary due to priorities, projects, and deadlines. This position reports to the Regional Facilities Manager.

As the Store Facilities Technician II, you will:

  • Maintain store equipment and facilities in working order through effective troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Repair appliances, refrigeration systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and miscellaneous kitchen equipment.
  • Carpentry/tile repair, interior/exterior lighting, painting, fixture repair, signage, etc.
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as noted in the equipment manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Perform visual inspections on equipment and be proactive in identifying repairs needed.
  • Identify issues that are under warranty and proceed accordingly.
  • Occasionally work with contractors to ensure that work is performed to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, expenses, etc.
  • Utilize call management system to prioritize work orders and route accordingly. Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities to maintain company standards of operation.
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA/EPA regulations and company standards.
  • Lock Out/Tag Out
  • Maintain company vehicle and safe driving habits.
  • Communicate effectively with store teams, other technicians, and management and respond to email in a timely manner.
  • Update work orders with informative status updates.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Available Monday Friday daylight hours with evening and weekend priority work order response as needed
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency in HVAC/Refrigeration with EPA Type I and II license
  • Proficient electrical knowledge
  • Basic plumbing skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as assist team members on site.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain efficiency while in the field completing repairs
  • Knowledge of jobsite and food health safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle with clean driving record
