Position Overview:Zenni is looking to engage a Director of HRBP to support our growing Customer Experience and Manufacturing teams, serving as the main liaison between the People team and other arms of our business. In this role, youll directly oversee the implementation of programs that align with our business objectives and core values. Our ideal candidate is someone whos ready to contribute at both a hands-on and strategic level, deploying best-in-class HR practices and cultivating Zennis culture as we grow. The Director HR Business Partner has a mix of strong business acumen, organization development, and human resources expertise coupled with consulting skills required to aid in the guidance and development of human resources functions within the business.***This position will be scoped as a Remote / Hybrid role. Need someone to occasionally travel to the Novato, CA Office***What we want you to own in this role: Ensuring that key members in the HR Business Partner department are equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Maintaining a full perspective of the business at all times, placing emphasis on employee relations, policies, and people management procedures in application across the business. Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional Leadership, collaborate with the businesss leaders, and executives, and spearhead the development of short and long-term strategies and approaches to attract, develop, and retain talent in the business. Partner with colleagues across the People team to deploy HR programs and initiatives that support the employee lifecycle Guiding the HR Business Partners in defining culture targets in order to realize measurable business impact. Approving and leading the business design and change of management projects initiated by the HR Business Partner department with a view of creating speed and efficiency across the business Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations team to develop solutions, programs, and policies Providing mentorship to HR Business Partner personnel, ensuring constant professional growth, and ingraining the departmental culture. Direct our approaches to organizational design so that we can leverage staffing and talent needs and drive succession planning Serve as a subject-matter expert for employee-related questions related to time and attendance, leaves of absence, disciplinary actions, terminations, and more Investigate workplace issues and promote positive employee relations in partnership with the Legal team (as needed) Contribute to strategic planning, talent assessment, change management, and team-building initiatives Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching at all levels of assigned departments Strategy: Approves strategic proposals while also taking the initiative to develop and drive people management strategies that promote an environment where all employees feel valued and respected. Ensures that all approved strategies are implemented with consistency and are aligned with the overall business priorities and goals at all levels and departments within the business. Support: Serves as a coach and consultant to the businesss departmental heads and managers as well as other employees on key organizational and management matters. Coaches these business leaders on HR policies and processes, inclusive of talent planning, development, and performance management in order to promote a culture of continuous growth and development in the business. Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Business Partner personnel to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to people management. Forecasting, staffing, development, onboarding, performance management, retention, succession planning, talent movement, and the utilization of workforce insights and analytics. Analytics: Utilizes workforce insights and analytics to address relevant people management issues and evaluate potential strategies and solutions Conducts research and data analytics to identify talent gaps, assess organizational performance, and propose solutions that support the business and promote ongoing talent development plans and succession. Generates strategic reports and recommendations based on their findings, which are intended for senior HR management, departmental heads, stakeholders, and business partners. Qualifications and Skills: 7+ years of work experience working preferably as a Senior HR Business Partner. Extensive experience in organization development, human resources, training, and talent planning. Proven and successful ability to build, lead, and implement people management programs that are effective and sustainable within a business. Demonstrated experience in raising awareness about important organizational issues and presenting relevant solutions. They should also be able to guide departmental heads, management, and stakeholders through a collaborative and shared decision-making process. Effective communication skills with departmental heads, managers, stakeholders, and business partners are crucial for ensuring the successful implementation of management strategies and procedures, resulting in improved business performance. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, be a creative and strategic thinker, work well in group settings, be proactive and go above and beyond, and remain calm under pressure. Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to unite a group with a shared vision and objective, persuade others to follow their direction, and build and maintain strong, trusting, and long-term relationships. Professional development in a stable, successful growing company. As of 08/15/2023, the expected compensation range for this position is $190,000 to $210,000 USD. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Companys business needs.
