Develop tools and features to bring a virtual world to life, ranging from shaders to level generation and loading to background simulations—partner with level designers, tech artists, and other engineers to make games. Develop and teach best practices for game development, specifically for UE4. Participate in code reviews, write tests, and assist in creating a healthy, humane, professional CI/CD development pipeline. Lead performance and game
optimization efforts to ensure the game runs smoothly, helping to balance visual fidelity with player experience.
*Telecommuting Role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a related technical/ quantitative field or foreign equivalent + 60 months of related experience in: Build features in an engineering environment using C, C++, Python and UI Framework. Test Applications. Data Structures and Algorithms. Virtualization and cloud technologies. Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object Oriented Design (OOD). Debug, and troubleshoot game systems in C++, UI Framework and extended Al features.
