As a Radiologic Technologist (Mobile X-Ray), you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic imaging services to patients in various locations, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. You will operate X-ray equipment, position patients correctly, and ensure high-quality images are captured for interpretation by radiologists. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, adhere to safety protocols, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using mobile X-ray equipment
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimum diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Follow established protocols to capture high-quality images
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain proper infection control practices
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and relay test results
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in mobile X-ray services
- Proficiency in operating mobile X-ray equipment and related software
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts as required
