We have an exciting opportunity for a mission driven clinical leader with a passion for high standards in healthcare services in a fast-paced setting. We are looking for 3PM-11PM. This is a great leadership opportunity to impact a wonderful team.

The Assisted Living Care Coach (Nurse Manager) is mainly responsible for directing and supervising the routine functions of the Assisted Living Memory Care Program (ALMC) in accordance with the requirements of Federal and State regulations. They will also manage the assisted living program with a data-driven, proactive approach to improving the quality of life, care, and overall services.

The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines.There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who can stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently.The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, the company's customers, or all of the above.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge, experience and proficiency with regulations governing specific NLCS Community or Service such as: VADSS, COMAR, Office of Health Care Quality and CMS guidelines a plus.
  • Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Licensed/Registered Nurse Scope of Practice
  • Experience in geriatric and/or subacute nursing, medication, treatment administration; unit and or house supervisory;
  • Proven, positive leadership skills essential
  • Computer electronic medical record experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Ability to partner, communicate, coach and counsel direct report team members
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
