As a Senior Geologist, you will play a crucial role in providing geotechnical solutions and recommendations for various projects involving piling, foundation design, and rockbolt installations. You will work closely with engineers, construction teams, and clients to ensure the successful implementation of geotechnical strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical investigations and analysis to assess soil conditions and determine the most suitable foundation design
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on the selection and installation of rockbolts for ground support
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to optimize geotechnical solutions for projects
• Prepare geotechnical reports, including design recommendations and calculations
• Perform site inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in geotechnical engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on piling, foundation design, and rockbolt installations
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and tools
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
