Job Summary:

n this role, you will be providing bedside care for pre-and post-surgery patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering prescribed medications. To ensure success, medical-surgical nurses should possess extensive knowledge of various health conditions and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibility:

  • Perform pre-operative assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and medication reviews.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with surgical procedures by preparing patients, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Administer medications and provide post-operative care, including wound care and pain management.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
