Quality Control Technician

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine testing of incoming samples in a timely fashion following standard operating procedures
• Operate particle size analysis equipment, lab furnaces for ash testing, Rotap sieve, bulk density, and visual analysis for testing of samples.
• Communicate effectively with Quality Supervisor (shift supervisor on off shift) to relate information pertaining to the material being tested (i.e. if it is out-of-spec, close to spec, etc.)
• Must be able to read and understand lab procedures and other paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
• Retrieve sample retains for customer inquiries.
• Record/Input test data into QC Database
• Check weigh scales in production area
• Perform other tests that may arise due to customer needs
• Retrieves sample from the stations that are in process
