Job Description: PLC Programmer Overview: We are in search of a highly skilled and detail-oriented PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Programmer. As a PLC Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining programmable logic control systems across various industrial settings. Your responsibilities will revolve around collaborating with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation and optimization of automated control systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software solutions tailored to programmable logic control systems, aligning with project requirements. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems, encompassing ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming languages. Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the efficient integration and functionality of PLC systems within production processes. Configure, test, and debug PLC systems, prioritizing reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and diagrams for implemented systems. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of PLC systems. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in PLC programming and automation technologies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of control systems and processes, actively identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Perform system upgrades, modifications, and expansions to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven expertise in PLC programming and industrial automation systems. Proficiency in programming PLCs using languages such as ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text. Familiarity with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex control systems. Experience with various PLC hardware and software platforms. A solid understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and industrial processes. Certifications in PLC programming or industrial automation are considered a plus.
