CDE Exteriors Inc. is looking to hire a Carpenter

Position details:
Type: Permanent, full-time position (40 hrs/wk)
Hourly wage: $30.00

Job location: various construction sites in Greater Vancouver area

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school,
• 1-2 years of previous carpentry experience.
• Good command of English.

Job Responsibilities:
• Interpret blueprints, determine specifications, and prepare layouts accordingly
• Measure, cut, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other relevant materials
• Create different construction structures, systems and forms using wooden beams, boards, plywood and other materials;
• Operate and maintain measuring, hand, and power carpentry tools
• Adhere strictly to established safety rules and guidelines
