We are a mid-size company with a unique industry-disrupting earned media offering and high-quality market research, and we are looking for someone that is able to bring new ideas and clients to the table to help us in our path to growth.

As an account manager of 72Point, you will build and deliver a healthy book of business. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads, as well as retaining business. Working as part of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying the correct buying motives, researching the correct contacts, and reaching out with a compelling, creatively written email outreach to introduce our business and offering. You will also deliver high-quality sales pitches, proposals, presentations, etc. to consistently win new business and maintain a healthy pipeline.

You should be driven to grow in a fast-paced and ever-evolving market, and you should be highly motivated, have a persistent attitude and be a strong communicator. Expected to work well within a friendly team environment while also being able to work independently, and be able to learn the features and benefits of our offering. Well rely on you to be creative and forward-thinking in finding ways to obtain new business. You must be a resident of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Florida or Texas at the time of employment.


Job responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting, researching, and developing new business opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends for prospecting needs
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities
  • Schedule calls, consultations, and meetings to meet with the potential new clients to identify their research and earned media needs
  • Based on industry trends, work and strategize with other departments to come up with campaign ideas thatll best support brands PR goals
  • Build and maintain a healthy book of business by regularly bringing in new business and retaining existing clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or one year experience in a sales/lead generation role and/or PR/marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience with sales relationship managers
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
  • Any experience with HubSpot, or other CRM platforms preferred
  • Ability to pitch well written, creative ideas via email
