Position Summary

DroneUp is seeking a Director of Product Management for our Mobile Commerce team, to own the product lines that make up our Mobile Commerce suite. You will be responsible for working closely with a cross functional team of stakeholders, end-users, engineers, UX designers, and product leaders to understand the problems to solve, drive the product vision, and define requirements to deliver DroneUps Mobile Commerce capabilities. You will have a deep understanding of the Mobile Commerce field and proven experience delivering solutions that encompass the mobile user experience across Marketplace, Store Front Back End sales and Fulfillment and Inventory Management. You will own the vision and roadmap for Mobile Commerce and fill product gaps by generating solutions that improve the user experience and provide flexible customizable solutions that help increase market share for DroneUp.

DroneUp is committed to being the leader in last-mile autonomous services. To achieve this goal, we are building a Mobile Commerce platform that allows a wide range of vendors to try and adopt our capabilities to manage and deliver their autonomous activities. The Mobile Commerce platform provides a Marketplace, Inventory Services, an out of the box Store and tolls, APIs and services that support flexible integration giving vendors a fast start and a growth path that delivers customizable and scalable last-mile autonomous services.

You will own the product vision and roadmaps, set goals and guidelines, research new business opportunities, and develop strategies to scale and optimize operations. You will coordinate with IT, Engineering and business stakeholders to set priorities, manage new development and operations, and provide direction and oversight to the product teams. You will report to the Senior VP of Product and regularly interlock with The Executive Leadership Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager in the eCommerce space to own a suite of products for mobile devices that bring exciting new last-mile autonomous services to vendors and consumers.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Mobile Commerce Team to develop and launch approved products and services
  • Communicate product status reports, assessing risk and new opportunities in each region
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, UX and Engineering to translate desired solutions into comprehensive business requirements
  • Lead the development of Epics, Stories and acceptance criteria to ensure quality execution
  • Lead Product Management efforts to develop, communicate, collaborate and maintain product roadmaps for the Mobile Commerce suite
  • Coordinate with the wider Product Development and Engineering Teams to prioritize tasks and achieve goals
  • Communicate upcoming product launches throughout the organization
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance KPIs to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
  • Travel up to 30% domestic and/or international
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 3 or more years experience in Software Engineering
  • At least 6 years experience in Product Management
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to clearly and successfully communicate with internal teams, clients and executives
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong passion for exploring, understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Proven experience delivering eCommerce solutions
  • Proven experience with Mobile platforms
  • Strong organizational, leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Salary:

Just like drones themselves, your earning potential can soar to new heights, but it largely depends on your qualifications and expertise. If you are recognized as an industry expert, your earning potential can take true flight. The target salary range for this position is $145,000 to $165,000. Your unique qualifications and contributions to the field will play a significant role in determining your precise compensation. The total rewards for this position may also include; potential for annual bonuses, benefits package, paid time off, and more.
