Job Overview:

As the Bookkeeper for CCH, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payments and receipts, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

1. Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

2. Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

3. Vendor Communication: Maintain professional relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding payments and invoices.

4. Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

1. Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Payment Tracking: Monitor customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts.

3. Reconciliation: Reconcile AR records with customer payments and resolve discrepancies.

4. Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.

General Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system.

2. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.

3. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries as needed.

4. Month-, Quarter-, and Year- End Close: Contribute to month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes including final account reconciliation and reports.

5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software - Quickbooks Online is required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus.
  • Sage, (link removed), and Google Sheets/MS Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.

Salary Range:

$50,000-$60,000 USD per year salary
