The Senior Sales Enablement Specialist at CoreSite will provide sales support and enablement functions, with a focus on ownership of the request for proposal (RFP) process. This critical role to the sales organization will be filled by someone who can easily qualify opportunities and prioritize timelines. The individual must excel in communication and delegation to ensure we are presenting our best end product to the client across all departments involved.

Job Responsibilities:

RFP Support

Project Manage RFPs

  • Serve as primary point of contact and project lead with the opportunity team on intake and coordination of RFP/RFIs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of RFP submissions including assignment of sections which require assistance from other departments
  • Effectively conduct cross-functional projects with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Ensure the final RFP response is in line with CoreSites standards of quality (tone, thoroughness, on brand, etc.) including the final proposal package
  • Facilitate the review process and host check in meetings along the way to ensure projects stay on time

Ownership of End-to-End RFP Process:

  • Ownership of end-to-end process documentation related to completion of RFP/RFIs
  • Identify and assist in implementing improvements to the RFP processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of RFP responses
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in RFP management

Ownership of the Software Platform to Enable RFP/RFI Responses:

  • Maintain, review, and improve data hygiene of question-and-answer library inside Responsive through tagging and category system in place
  • Conduct regular review process with key stakeholders to ensure questions and answers are always up-to-date

Sales Support

Serve as Point of Contact for Day to Day Sales Support:

  • Provide remote support to ~30+ salespeople on a daily basis as needed
  • Provide remote support to ~20+ individuals in supporting groups in the sales organization (Sales Engineers, Sales Architects, Sales Development and Channel team) on a daily basis as needed
  • Serve as a consultant to the sales team to assist with technical and operational asks including renewal assistance, audit support, interdepartmental coordination, request for information/proposal support and quote-to-order support
  • Provide regular coaching to field sales and supporting groups on company best practices alongside our Sales Ops and Enablement Trainer
  • Identify process gaps that impact the customer experience and partner with the rest of the Sales Operations team to resolve those gaps
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of departmental processes where appropriate
  • In partnership with the respective organizations, help facilitate the customer move out and relocation process
  • Promote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSites culture and Guiding Principles
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • CoreSite currently operates on a hybrid, in-office/remote working structure.

- Must be willing and able to be in downtown Denver office every Tuesday and Wednesday at minimum

  • Experience working in a high touch, fast paced sales or customer care organization
  • Experience with software and/or database management
  • Ability to identify and lead process improvement
  • Strong documentation skills
  • High level of customer (internal or external) focused service
  • Experience and passion for support and customer service
  • Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective
  • Excels in a team-oriented work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to analyze multiple requests for support and prioritize appropriately

Education/Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in sales support or customer service
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Experience with formal request for proposal (RFP) preparation and presentation
  • Telecommunications or data center industry experience preferred

Compensation:

Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $68,000 and $82,000 annually. This role is also eligible for commission and equity.
