Job Purpose/Background

Given the exponential growth of Greenbacker, implementing formal treasury operations have become increasingly important to both operationalize and standardize. As the company continues to raise capital and grow our investment portfolio, an opportunity has arisen to join Greenbacker Administration, which primarily provides asset management, financial, operational, and administrative support and managerial oversight for Greenbacker. This role will report to the Treasury Manager within the Treasury department. This role will work within a focused and committed treasury team that reports to the Treasurer. As a rapidly expanding and new department, the responsibilities will be expansive and evolving.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating company-wide wire transfers
  • Applying for EINs and maintaining a master schedule
  • Maintaining the KYC and onboarding process for new bank accounts: deposit accounts, escrow accounts, various other restricted accounts under depository account agreements (DACAs)
  • Setting up accounts in the treasury management system (GTreasury)
  • Supporting hedging onboarding and master schedule
  • Supporting letters of credit process
  • Assisting with debt compliance
  • Assisting with cash forecasting reconciliation process
  • Providing general support for the Treasury Manager
  • Executing ad hoc projects assigned by the Treasurer

Education, Experience, and Attributes

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar field of study preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience (ideally, with some exposure in accounting or accounts payable) required
  • Experience with a treasury management system preferred
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge preferred
  • Analytical and detail oriented.
  • Persistent, self-motivated, independent, and possessing a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill.
  • Ability to collaborate, develop, and implement new ideas and creative solutions.
  • Comfortable working remotely and in-office, as part of a small team.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
