Our client, a globally recognized leader in aviation maintenance, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Engine Technician III (A&P) to join their team in Tucson, AZ. This company prides itself on its outstanding service, expansive capabilities, and continual investment in new technologies.


Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $30-35/hr
  • Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Perform removal, repair, and installation of engine modules and engines.
  • Conduct top & bottom case repairs.
  • Execute AD & SB modifications.
  • Carry out borescope inspections, boroblend repairs, and engine runs.
  • Handle NDT, engine preservation, and the parking, preservation & storage of aircraft.
  • Perform general shop work and other tasks as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of FAA requirements for engine and aircraft return to service.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow ESM & AMM manual instructions.
  • Proficiency in disassembling, testing, repairing, and reassembling engines, engine modules, and components.
  • Experience in removing/installing various aircraft engines across multiple platforms.
  • Solid background in performing parking, preservation, and storage of various aircraft.
  • Capable of conducting regular inspections and diagnosing malfunctions.
  • Flexibility to lead teams as needed.
  • Strong MS Office skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience as a CFM 56 Engine Modular Technician/Mechanic.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Airframe & Powerplant / Powerplant License.
  • Experience in an MRO organization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions and travel domestically & internationally as needed.
