Duties:

  • Lead mechanics team on routine aircraft maintenance
  • Verify aircraft systems' integrity pre-flight
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Inspect aircraft components for potential issues and conduct necessary repairs
  • Consult manuals for proper operations and repairs
  • Test engines and operating systems for proper functionality
  • Collaborate with A&P mechanics for engine and parts repair

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanics

  • Ability to perform under pressure

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA-accredited technical school program completion
  • FAA A&P mechanic certification within three years of hire

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various positions and confined spaces
  • Ability to handle objects up to 70 pounds
  • Physical strength and manual dexterity for tool operation and adjustments
  • Visual and auditory acuity to inspect equipment and assess functionality
