Forward March Inc. is partnering with a leading company in the manufacturing industry and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join the team. As a Senior Industrial Engineer you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes and enhancing efficiency within our manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to make a significant impact on our operations and contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and workflow optimizations.
  • Design and develop efficient assembly line layouts, workstations, and material flow systems.
  • Conduct time studies and establish production standards to improve accuracy and productivity.
  • Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and reduce production costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and workshops.
  • Train and mentor junior industrial engineers and other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and other industrial engineering tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing process improvement projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel if/when needed
