Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. seeks a Software/Systems Engineer to join the development team on one of our (many) government programs. Be part of a collaborative and diverse team of junior, senior, and expert-level developers and mission leaders, allowing you to mentor and learn from others.
What You Will Do:
Serve an integral role in working with a multi-talented team and key stakeholders to interface with target market partners, develop and design requirements and use cases, and directly support the development of a next-generation suite of Government customer tools.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering field
- Hands-on software/system engineering experience (e.g., Linux scripting, Infrastructure as Code, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, databases, software development)
- Experience working with, deploying, and managing Linux-based OS systems
- Software product testing experience
- Success in working across a broad spectrum of stakeholders
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Understanding of software and infrastructure engineering best practices
- Comprehensive Agile process and tool experience
Nice To Have's:
- Experience working directly with Intelligence Community (IC) mission customers
- Experience optimizing workflows
- Strong DevOps and System Administration background
- AWS Experience
- Container (Docker) and Container Orchestration understanding
- Understanding of open-source libraries and tools
- Experience with software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment with multiple toolsets such as Ansible, Chef, Containers, Kubernetes
