Phillips Corporation, a global supplier of manufacturing technology products and services is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Federal Account Manager.

As a Federal Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with our federal government customers. You will be responsible for understanding their unique needs and requirements, and providing them with innovative solutions from our machinery product lines. This role requires a deep understanding of the federal procurement process, as well as exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Your goal will be to exceed customer expectations, drive revenue growth, and strengthen the long-term partnership between Phillips Corporation and our federal government clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within the federal government sector.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and contacts within federal agencies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and ensure a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, requests for proposals (RFPs), and other communication.
  • Lead contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms and conditions while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, account updates, and reports to management.
  • Monitor and drive customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the federal government sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a complex sales environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technology (CNC equipment, 3d printers, metalworking equipment)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry conferences and events.

Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $100,000.00 and $125,000.00 annually. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.
