Yext, Inc. seeks Product Designer in New York, NY:

Job Duties: Create mockups and interactive prototypes that build on the foundation of atomic design components to communicate designs. Design and prioritize design solutions in an iterative and collaborative process. Identify and analyze user needs or pain points through participation in user research that flows into design decisions. Coordinate with engineering teams to provide detailed designs and requirements to support engineering implementation. Understand and research both qualitative and quantitative feedback from product stakeholders to rapidly produce multiple design optimization that lead to better UX/UI. Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Participate in the internal development of company’s design system and promote its adoption across our company. Understand users’ needs and identify opportunities to pitch product expansion ideas, as well as new features for existing products. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted. Salary: $161,000 to $213,500.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interactive Design, Information Experience Design, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a product designer-related or consultant-technology related position.

Special Skill Requirements: at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following: (1) writing code using front-end frameworks; (2) development languages such as React, HTML, or CSS; (3) Sketching, wireframing, and prototyping responsive and intuitive user interfaces across various platforms including desktop and mobile; (4) Analyzing industry product trends and conducting stakeholder workshops to deliver a more user-centric product; (5) Developing, managing, and documenting the client’s design system components; (6) collaboration and organization tools such as Slack, Google docs, or FigJam; (7) Producing complex interface designs based on common UX Laws and UI Design Patterns and Principles; (8) industry-standard tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, or Illustrator; and, (9) Conducting UX research and employing methods such as in-depth user interviews or usability testing.
