Job Summary:1. Conduct safety training for employees on OSHA topics. 2. Establish and manage health and safety standards. 3. Lead the Safety Committee Program and encourage employee participation. 4. Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses, maintaining proper documentation. 5. Participate in and lead continuous improvement opportunities in work practices or conditions. 6. Conduct audits to identify environmental, fire, safety, and health hazards. 7. Identify training needs and develop relevant programs. 8. Administer training programs to enhance manufacturing, quality, and safety.Essential Skills and Experience:1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2. Thorough knowledge of federal and local Environmental, Safety and Health (EHS) regulations, including OSHA. 3. Minimum of 5 yearsu2019 experience in a health and safety related discipline. 4. Ability to recognize, evaluate, and recommend controls for workplace hazards. 5. Ability to determine training needs and organize or conduct training. 6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact with regulatory agencies. 7. Proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentation. 8. Ability to observe and record field events accurately. 9. Must be self-directed, detail-oriented, able to manage confidential information, work independently, and be highly motivated.Preferred Skills and Experience:1. An associate or bacheloru2019s degree in a safety or manufacturing related area. 2. Instructor Certification in First Aid, CPR. 3.
