Schedule: Hybrid, currently working 2 days onsite, 3 days offsite (subject to change due to government requirements).

First Division Consulting is seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Operations group of an Army Project Manager at Fort Belvoir, Va. This position will provide programmatic operations support to an O-6 Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, Product Managers, Directorates, and Staff. General functions will include task management, document control, visits/equipment displays, calendar management, meeting coordination and planning, weekly reporting, event planning and other tasks as required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Possesses and independently applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments; may be assigned responsibility to participate in or lead project efforts.
  • Support organizational-level operations and information with higher headquarters, subordinate organizations, and external stakeholders.
  • Review, edit, and manage internal and external taskers.
  • Receive, review/edit, and manage Document Staffing packages.
  • Develop and publish organizational-level operations functional policies and procedures, orders, Letters of Instruction, other directives, and communications (EXSUMs, Information Papers, Briefings, Reports, etc.).
  • Control. manage and schedule organizational resources (conference rooms, organization charts/rosters, calendars, etc.).
  • Manage and provide support for VIP and Routine Visits and Equipment Displays.
  • Submit and review Defense Travel System (DTS) TDY authorizations and vouchers.
  • Plan, resource, and support organizational events (command and staff meetings, town halls, ceremonies, etc.).
  • Manage weekly reporting requirements from higher headquarters and subordinate organizations.
  • Archive Operations functional documents and information.
  • Represent operations functional leadership at meetings and conferences.
  • Support special requirements (FOIA, Memorandum of Agreement, International Program, Training, Security etc.).
  • Assist with employee in/out-processing, as needed.
  • Provide daily support to the Personnel Accountability Report.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree 6+ years relevant experience, or
  • Associates Degree and 8+ years relevant experience, or
  • High School Diploma and 10+ years relevant experience.
  • Expertise in MS Excel, Word and other Microsoft applications.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Have and maintain a secret clearance.
  • Will be required to follow all Federal COVID-19 protocols as they pertain to contractors.
