Parallel Employment is hiring for a 2nd Shift Material Handler position for a manufacturing company in Lancaster, NY.
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring products are accurately handled and stored according to company standards.
2nd shift: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm - 10 pm OR Monday - Thursday 3 pm-1 am
$20.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Use forklift and powered industrial truck to pull inventory and deliver production materials and supplies to production
- Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
- Use RF scanners for inventory movement
- Inventory control
- Wrap and tag pallets
- Operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a material handler or in a similar role
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Basic math and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
