The Maintenance/Facilities Technician is directly responsible for maintaining the day-to-day equipment, facilities and building systems. The individual is responsible for equipment performance, Preventive Maintenance (PM), inventory parts, maintaining and repairing all electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building or property systems as needed.

Requirements

  • Promote and support an environment of continuous improvement through the maintenance of all plant facilities and production/warehouse equipment.
  • Perform planned equipment maintenance, equipment failure repairs, and daily systems checks to ensure operational functionality. Examples of plant equipment includes Braze Furnaces, Fin Machines, HVAC Systems, Ovens, and Vapor Degreaser.
  • Maintain building sites in accordance with relevant regulations and safety codes.
  • Conduct Fire Safety checks to ensure equipment is operational and compliant.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors on equipment repairs and troubleshooting
  • Complete Maintenance Requests and Preventive Maintenance forms on time and document corrective/preventive actions taken.
  • Understand and follow all Safety policies.
  • Support production needs by assisting in needed facility upgrades, equipment relocation and wiring, and process improvement flow.
  • Perform minor repair and maintenance duties (i.e. plumbing and electrical) of the offices, hallways, restrooms, as needed.
  • Maintain costs of maintenance supplies within budget.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance and facilities experience in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Preferred experience from one of the following industries: Aerospace, Industrial, HVAC or equivalent
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and HVAC.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout, and Electrical Safety requirements.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs including Netfacilities or Mapcon
  • Being able to work off shift or other hours as needed
  • Fluid communication, both verbally and written in the English language.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
