• Contractor employee will provide contracting services for the U.S. Coast Guards Civil Engineering Unit Oakland. These services include assisting a Contracting Officer with contracting activities.
• Contractor employee will assist the Contracting Officer develop Requests for Proposals for potential contract actions. Receive responses and assist Contracting Officer and Project Manager with cost/price analysis, development of pre/post negotiation memorandum, and preparation of modification, as required.
• Contractor employee will assist the Contracting Officer with negotiations.
• Contractor employee will assist the Contracting Officer with contract administration duties i.e. prepare contractor discrepancy reports, cure letters, default packages, etc.
• Contractor employee will assist the Contracting Officer with logging paid invoices on assigned contract actions.
• Contractor employee will assist the Contracting Officer with administratively closing out contract actions assuring satisfactory completion and inclusion of final reports and evaluations.
• Contractor employee will assist the Contracting Officer with data input into an Electronic Contract filing system.

Requirements

• Experience with contract administration at the federal level is required.
• Specific personnel qualification requirements: Personnel required to perform the services described in this Statement of Work shall meet the following minimum qualifications:

Completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field, that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. Copy of transcripts shall be submitted showing at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the fields indicated in this paragraph.
