We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Press Stretch Operator - 1st Shift & 3rd Shift job in Canton, GA, for one of our clients. Completion Bonus:
Option 1: Pay $200 upon the completion of the 2 days of orientation Pay $2000 upon the completion of 90 days of employment Option 2: Pay $200 upon the completion of the 2 days of orientation Pay $800 upon the completion of 60 days of employment Pay $1000 upon the completion of 90 days of employment Benefits: - Medical/Dental/Vision excellent plans with low premiums

OUR CLIENTS STORY Our client supplies aircraft manufacturers and subcontractors worldwide and has served the aircraft industry for over four decades. They specialize in 2000- and 7000-series alloys and offer a full range of alloys and tempers that can be tailored to a customers particular application. Requirements - Exercise and promote safety
- Understand and use tools required to complete tasks
- Understand print tolerances and how to apply
- Move the material to the saw
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Understand and read a hard card
- Cut material and understand the following: sample standards, finished piece size, and tolerances; walk out the part to know the first and last cut.
- Mark product
- Know saw control menus
- Operate saw in manual and auto
- Send programs
- Adjust saw as needed
- Identify scrap pieces and log into the system
- Fill out the required forms and logs
- Identify quality defects
- Know the R codes (scrap codes)
- Perform checks: conductivity, cut length, visual, weight, squareness
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum Experience: None
- Certifications Required: Crane certification; Forklift certification; Lock-out/Tag-out certification; Pallet jack certification (certifications completed during new hire orientation)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Communication Skills: Ability to effectively listen and communicate ideas and thoughts to others; able to assimilate ideas originating from others
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions
- Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift; the physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
