1 Resource Group is currently seeking an Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician for our equipment client. As an Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functionality and longevity of construction equipment. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders.
  • Perform inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve potential equipment issues before they develop into major problems.
  • Maintain detailed records of performed maintenance and repairs, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.
  • Collaborate with equipment operators and other maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment components, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, for repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in equipment maintenance techniques, attending training sessions as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as an equipment maintenance technician in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

$22.00- $25.00 hr
