Highlights:
Position Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioural Health
Location: Fontana, CA 92336, San Bernardino, CA 92404, Redlands, CA 92374, Rialto, CA 92376, and Colton, CA 92324
Work Schedule: To be decided.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assesses, plans, evaluates and implements patient care according to accepted standards of practice.
- Documents delivery of patient care in the medical record.
- Administers medications and treatments and observes patient responses.
- Establishes and maintains positive interpersonal relationships with patients, their families and hospital staff.
- Provides patient and family education regarding health practices and treatment modalities.
- Provides direction and instruction to staff, interpreting the needs of each patient to all persons participating in the patient's care.
- Maintains current knowledge of health care developments and therapeutic measures.
- Attends department in-services and staff development programs.
- Provides orientation and training to new staff, residents, medical and nursing students.
- Initiates emergency nursing measures such and Code Blue and Code Red.
- Provides vacation and temporary relief as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Knowledge and Experience:
- Basic computer and tablet knowledge
- Minimum 1 year exxperience.
- License:
- Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certificate
