The Account Executive is responsible for managing existing State and Federal Enterprise Correctional Institutions customer base and prospecting leads to obtain public performance license, content and digital content distribution. This role drives exponential growth with new business, plus operates as the primary account customer contact with a focus on service and customer loyalty for existing business retention via contract renewal. Works across multiple stakeholders including c-suite, expediting complex decisions to quick wins. Self-starter, deploys best practices, identifies new customer insights to drive business, highly accountable, and delivers above expectations.

  • Strong relationship management and contract negotiation of existing State and Federal Correctional Institutions accounts to ensure renewal and review for upsell opportunities
  • Drive pipeline generation of new accounts for conversion to long term customer through successful salesmanship and knowledge of Swank offerings
  • Perform market research and attend trade conferences to identify new sale opportunities in the correctional facility who meet the desired criteria
  • Lead presentation with existing and potential customers, understanding customer goals to identify and provide content and technical solutions
  • Serve as the vital point of contact during the onboarding process, then transfer knowledge to the assigned Account Executives
  • Assist Account Executives with state or consortium renewals and review each contract for upsell opportunities
  • Conduct customer satisfaction quarterly business review and forecasting of achievements against target
  • Collaborate with marketing to create sales support materials and value packed campaigns that drive revenue
  • Motivated by overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Travel approximately 25%
  • Experience in the Institutional Corrections market, or government, preferred
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Dynamics 365 a plus
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong communication both verbal and written, conveying customer focus in all forms
