The Opportunity
East Bank Club is looking to add a part time Membership Advisor. Do you have a passion for fitness? Able to make connections with others? This could be the perfect opportunity!
Facilitate memberships; assist prospective new and existing members and guests in a professional, efficient manner. Keeping service uppermost in mind at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with prospective new members, previous members reinstating and serving existing members with account modifications
- Provide membership information to all prospects
- Arrange and provide tours for prospective members
- Accommodate walk-in requests for membership information
- Work closely with prospects to determine their needs, answer their questions about your products and recommend the right solutions
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Enter all membership inquiries into Keep Me Prospecting system (set up contract, app access, required codes for club & parking entry
- Manage new prospects - monthly average of 75 per advisor
- Monitor, create and complete daily follow up list
- Schedule and complete 3 follow up for all tours and inquiries
- Sign up new members
- New Member Orientation
- Process new member paperwork
- Issue New Member Gifts
- Set Member up on the app with digital Id
- Tutorial on app use
- Responsible for assigned individual Sr. project
- Knowledge of all membership policies and reasons behind them
- Check email and voicemail regularly and follow up promptly
- Keep a daily tally of all activity
Reinstating Memberships
- Investigate account history in Tableau & Fitvue
- Determine if account is eligible for reinstatement and fees associated with it
- Process required paperwork and documentation
- Issue reinstatement gifts
- Review new procedures or changes to club layout (tour) with returning member
Convert existing memberships
- Create family memberships
- Add/delete a spouse
- Add a dependent
- Split an account
- Create two individual memberships from an existing family account
- Merge/combine accounts
Inactivation
- Explain inactive and freeze options
- Complete required paperwork
- Obtain confirmation in person or email (follow up with terms and conditions)
Membership Retention
- Save inactive membership requests
- Assist and monitor special needs case
Business Development
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Increase Client base
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Promote referral program
- Maintain monthly referral log and mailings
Other
- All other job duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Must be able to work 20 hours a week, including one weekend day required 9am-4pm and 2 afternoon/early evening shifts 12:30-7:30pm
- Excellent oral communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter; takes initiative
- Some college or sales experience preferred
