Randstad is actively assisting a long time client with its search for a Director of Marketing (Brand Manager) - Hybrid in Greater Boston MA area. Our client is a well-established and profitable organization with a strong track record of employee development and retention. They are offering competitive compensation, and looking to hire quickly.


*6 month contract to start (possibility of extension, or rolling permanent)

*Compensation = $90-140/hr ($180,000 - $280,000)


Client Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans that build long-term brand health and drive sustainable share growth. This requires curating a deep understanding of consumers, translating that into bold strategies and plans that will break through in a highly competitive category, and working across teams to execute with excellence. To be successful, you must have a clear passion for the consumer, strong marketing fundamentals, a demonstrated ability to champion and drive ideas, and a desire to drive impact and action. This position reports into the Senior Director, Coffee Owned Power Brands.


Responsibilities:

  • Help drive development of the brands strategy, including establishing its vision and growth objectives / plans by leveraging consumer insights, category and consumer trends, and deep understanding of our competition and customer needs
  • Champion the brands product news (innovation / renovation) strategy and agenda, partnering with Insights, Innovation, and Commercial teams to develop and execute an ongoing pipeline of growth opportunities that deliver our business goals
  • Support development, alignment and implementation of the brands integrated communications strategy from briefing to creative/media plan alignment to measurement to optimization in close partnership with Cultural Integrations / Media functions; includes engaging the expertise of A-list agencies and media partners.
  • Analyze and assess innovation and marketing performance leveraging various inputs (including Marketing Mix analysis) and evolve approach based on results
  • Informally coach and support a junior team members (not a direct report)


Qualifications:

  • A general manager mindset through which you exhibit data based decision making and the ability to execute
  • Expertise in developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies based on consumer insights, deep analysis of market data, and category trends; experience across various facets of marketing (equity, communications, new product development, Commercial execution, etc.) preferred.
  • Proven thought leadership demonstrating an ability to align, champion and drive ideas in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated drive for impact, including a focus on delivering results with urgency
  • Strong people leadership with an ability to influence across functions and levels
  • 3-5+ yrs of brand marketing / brand management experience, ideally in CPG / Beverage
