Spherion is seeking a skilled Blender Operator for a long standing packaging client in St Peter. Blender Operators are responsible for accurately reading recipes and mixing batches according to those recipes.

Shifts:
1st: Tuesday Wedensday, Thursday and every other Friday 4:00AM-4:30PM
2nd: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every-other Thursday 4:00PM-4:30AM

Responsibilities:
Daily work includes reading recipes and applying said recipe to the blender in manageable batches. A blend recipe could consist of anywhere from 2 - 10 different ingredients. Other requirements would include inventory of ingredients, cleanliness of the blend room, and paperwork. Attention to detail is critical! Other duties outside of the blend room may include working on a production line, operating a machine, driving a forklift, labeling, making boxes, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Skills:
Previous blending experience is preferred.

Qualifications:
For this position, the applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as stand or walk for 12 hour shifts.
Attention to detail is a MUST!
Solid work history
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work on a platform above ground
Must be able to understand and adhere to food safety policies and procedures
