Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automobiles and an understanding of Gm-Cadillac-Mitsubishi automotive parts. If you are someone who enjoys helping customers find the right parts for their vehicles and takes pride in delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing a welcoming and informative experience.
- Identify and locate the correct automotive parts based on customer needs.
- Provide product knowledge and technical assistance to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Handle telephone inquiries and provide parts information.
- Maintain organized records of parts sales and inventory.
- Keep the parts counter area clean, well-stocked, and presentable.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and the latest automotive technologies.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and components.
- Proficiency in using computerized point-of-sale systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts orders and transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for occasional parts deliveries.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new product information and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to climb stairs, ladders, and lift to 75 lbs. unassisted and over 75 lbs. assisted.
