Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the successful completion of heavy highway or airport projects ranging from $5-$20 million
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Project Manager Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare and review project plans, specifications, and drawings
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and project progress
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services
- Conduct regular project team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and implement solutions
- Generate and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and payment requests
Project Manager Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of heavy highway or airport experience in projects ranging from $5-$20 million
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in project scheduling and budgeting
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
